There are three categories of gigs at the Pony - General, Student Night and Open Mic.  Please identify which category is the best fit for you, then complete the relevant short online 'expression of interest' form.

General
These gigs are generally for experienced, established bands and take place on weeknights and weekends.  Bands set their own ticket price, in conjunction with venue. Genres can include Americana, Latin, world, country, alternative, indie, funk, soul, jazz, folk, blues, pop, rockabilly and more! 

EXPRESSION OF INTEREST FORM - GENERAL GIGS 
 

Student Night
For young, local, and emerging musicians keen to play to a student demographic. Genres can include indie, nu-soul, rap, fusion, funky jazz, jazzy funk. Specially priced drink and pizza deals for guests. Two or three bands, every second Thursday. Cover charge is always $10, with takings split equally between the bands.

Open Mic
Semi regular Tuesday night gig. Short sets by solo, duos or small combos.  Suit beginners. Because open mic nights are free entry, we can’t pay performers. However, bands can seek donations from the audience by passing the jug around.
